The Valley – Part 3

 

The weather warmed up and we began preparations for cleaning the lights at the castle.  Then we inquired about the very old wiring mentioning the (minor) detail that we would be using water and such.  The consensus was that perhaps we’d want to turn the power off.  This is high season for tourists however so no dice.  {{Sad Face}}

                   That doesn’t keep us from admiring them though.

                          One of our neighbors took us for a driving tour the other day.

           Welcome to Artists Drive.  It is so known for all of the colors in the mountains.

        This twisty, turny, dip-tastic ride takes you up close and personal.

It was here that we learned we had been previously misinformed.  The greens we’ve seen so often are not copper but green chlorite.
