WorkKamping At Your Parent’s House (Part 1)

It had been a few years since we’d had a visit with Nicole’s folks.  So, it was nice that we had so much time available.

We had no plans other than a specific date that we had to be in Georgia.  But that was a full month away.  It was a good thing!

There were a few little this's and that’s around the place in need of some fixing.  And we’re pretty good at fixing.

Four weeks and many projects later, everything was looking pretty darn good.

As we were wrapping up the last few things, Nicole mentioned, “You know, if you were ever thinking about selling this place, now is the time.”

A few days later we were talking with realtors and the house was listed!

Nicole’s folks are now in the process of downsize into a condo at a wonderful retirement community only a few miles from the home they have lived in for fifty years.

As good as it was to be able to spend so much time with Nicole’s folks, it felt even better to have been able to help them out around the house in the way that we did.

Well, time to get this posted.
